*FINECAST LATEX PLASTER MOULD- 3 WISE MEN SET. The best quality latex rubber is used giving fine detail and long life under normal conditions of use. Essentially, any material that can be poured into (or spooned) into the mould in liquid form and then solidifies can be used and would include plaster, candle wax (paraffin) and resin. When subjected to heat repeatedly, latex weakens and distorts and there is less deterioration if cooling is gradual. There is a practical limit of approx. 70C to prevent damage to the mould - candlewax/paraffin melts at 62/66C.
